For Real

It's now official.  The adventure has begun 'for real', using an oft-used phrase by our favorite 4-year-old.  On Sunday morning, the first day of 2012, we departed from Arlington, TX and drove south to Spring, TX as we make our way to Florida.  We'll spend a week here, a week in Lafayette, LA, a week in Mobile, AL, and a couple of days in White Springs, FL before reaching our destination in Titusville, FL.  We'll spend the rest of the winter days there, exploring the state.

The RV park here in Spring does live up to its 'resort' description.  The pictures show the nice elbow room, concrete pads, and patio space.  We're enjoying feeling pampered again for a while.

The weather forecast looks good for most of the week so we're going to make the most of it.  The exterior of the RV has been neglected for too many months, so before we play we're going to spend a day getting the RV back to the condition we're happy with.  For exploring this week, we plan to visit Old Town Spring and the Houston Museum District.  More postings to follow.
